The CCSJC Guatemala missions team has arrived safe and sound at the Pottersfield base in Antigua. The base is both the home of Calvary Chapel Antigua as well as a training center for the Ignite Missions school. They got to see Rebecca Kusunoki, Quincy McCook whole are part of Ignite and Pastor John’s parents Jim and Patti Randall who run the school. It was a joyful reunion.
Everyone on the team is doing great and really excited to be in Guatemala. They will be doing some work projects around the base as well as participating in the Kid’s Club ministry days. They will also be traveling to an extremely poor community nearby to minister to the people. In addition they are working with the Ignite students to do street evangelism and have worked out a Gospel presentation skit.
The team consists of 15 high school students and adults from our church led by Pastor Andrew. They are anxious to begin the work tomorrow but need to rest as they have been traveling since 2 am.
1. Refreshing sleep
2. Physical strength
3. Servants hearts
4. Team unity
5. Pray for those they will be sharing with and ministering to that they will be a source of encouragement to the Pottersfield staff and students as well as a bold witness of Christ’s love to the community.
Thank you for keeping the team in prayer.
