This is an update from Steve Bailey. They fly home Wednesday so please be in prayer for them.
> We are now in Arua and will fly down to Entebbe later this morning. We fly out to the States late tonight/early tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. Yesterday was an amazing day. We started with a Men’s Bible Study where I was invited to share on the role of the husband in marriage. Afterwards, Rick and I, along with the men of the church, assembled two of the four hand-crank tricycles received in the container. These tricycles are specifically designed to be all terrain transportation for those whose legs will not permit walking. The church men, then presented the tricycle to Cuthbert Upira, a member of the worship team at CC Midigo and the church media leader. Cuthbert has not had the use of his legs since a severe birth abnormality. He loved the new device, and later in the day, we saw him on the tricycle on road heading into town. >
> The second tricycle was given to Annette, a 17 year old girl who attends the CC Midigo high school and is a regular member of CC Midigo. Annette had Polio as a child and has legs which do not support her. She walks on her knees a half a kilometer to school each day. Now with the new tricycle, she has the ability to move freely through the village and to and from school. Praise the Lord for His grace and mercy. It was a blessing to be there for the presentation of these life changing devices to these two children of God. >
> Later, we toured the fish pond project which is expected to be in operation in mid- or late-June. We saw CC Midigo school with over 500 students; the vast majority of which are Muslim and who hear the Word of God taught daily. The school is an amazing ministry and testimony of Christ in an area so dark with false teaching. >
> Today, we are in Arua waiting for our flight to Kampala. Once in Kamplala, we will attempt to see CC Entebbe before catching our flight home to the States. We had an amazing trip thanks to your prayers and the grace of our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. >
