Prayer Update from Uganda Team

Thank you all for all your prayers. Our team has now moved north from Naluko to Soroti. It was with mixed emotions that we said goodbye to so many new friends. All of them said they were praying we would come back soon.

During the four days of outreach our medical team saw more than 1,000 patients. We fed 432 families with maize flour, beans and salt. We also hosted a lunch for the church where we had more than 600 adults and children. So many people have confessed Jesus as Lord during this time. There was no way we could even keep count. As we were preparing to leave an older man came up to me and said he wanted to ask Jesus into his heart. He asked me to pray with him and I had the privilege of leading him in the sinners prayer. In just seven short months the church has outgrown its building. It’s a great problem to have however they are overwhelmed with all the people.

Pray that more people will come to help Pastor Majok and his other two volunteers Laura and Esther.

Also pray for the team. We had a lot of long days and we are far from done. Now that we are in Soroti we will be doing hut to hut ministry in the village as well as going around and praying for patients in the hospital. Pray for strength and continued health for the team. It has been a great trip and a great team.

Everyone works so hard without complaint. It doesn’t matter if it is hot or rains they all just continue serving.
