Update from Rwanda

What a blessing yesterday was as we were able to visit the Calvary Chapel School of Ministry here in Rwanda. We spent time fellowshipping with and teaching the men in SOM. The ladies were also able to spend time with the ladies from CCR. It was such a blessed time and they were all so receptive to the Word of God.

Later in the afternoon the SOM soccer team played the local secondary school. Our guys did great though we lost 4-2. Our loss was heavens gain as we got to share the Gospel with the entire school and almost all of them accepted the Lord! Pray that the SOM guys are able to follow up with all these youth and that they will grow in the Lord.

In the evening we met with one of the government leaders to talk about police chaplaincy. He was very excited about the concept and said that this was needed in both the police and military. We look forward to what the Lord will do here to open up another opportunity to minister here.

Pray for our team as we wind up our trip and begin the long trek home tomorrow. I know it will be sad to say goodbye to all our friends and family here. We have been running really hard for the last three weeks and though our bodies are tired our spirits are revived as we have seen the Lord work so powerfully here. Thank you to all of you who have prayed for and supported this outreach. Don’t stop praying!
