Update from the Uganda Team

Romans 10:13-15 (KJV) 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

We met today with some leaders in the community. Seven of them were Muslims this included the president/mayor of the village. The team all shared their personal testimonies along with a clear presentation of the Gospel. All the Muslims accepted the Lord for which there is a major cost. It’s the first seven guys from left to right.

Psalms 1:1-3 (ESV) 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

Carol, Debbie and Levenia met for fellowship with the ladies of the church. Carol shared from Psalm 1 about not walking in the counsel of the ungodly. Many of the ladies repented, saying they are Christians and living sinful lives but now God has “pinched” them and they have repented!

Please pray for these new believers to grow in the Lord. They are likely to face pretty intense persecution. Pray for the hearts of the ladies to make a lasting change and glorify God in all they do and say. Also pray for continued health for the team. Everyone is doing great and feeling good!

Thank you all for praying. We can really feel your prayers so don’t stop.
